Mr Texas Social Club FAQS

For Prospective Members

  • Some clubs have social events that for new members on their first visit, have specific events that are free, to allow you to experience what it is like here. You will need to join the facebook page and follow the private groups to find out when those events may occur.

  • This is a vacation rental / retreat center and depending on the event or situation, all persons on property are expected to be private social club members, retreat participants, event ticket holders.

  • All persons must sign the waiver and code of conduct.

  • Some events are closed at a certain time of evening, meaning no more in or out. For example, if a social club had an early evening private event, and individual members of the club joined together and rented rooms overnight to enjoy the hot tub and get to know one another better, we would not want to mix the group dynamics, by allowing non-club members to enter the property, it can destroy the vibe, and disrupt the nature of the bonds being formed.

  • If you are caught sneaking in an unauthorized visitor/ escort /or underage person. Management has the right to remove you from the property

Curious, but undecided?

  • If your unsure if you want to come here, then recommend finding a club or retreat that most closes aligns with your personal interests or lifestyle, join that club or retreat, make plans to attend that specific day/date. Many of those clubs or retreats have facebook private groups you can follow and get to understand some of the friendly vibe we maintain around here and what to expect ahead of time.

  • You can ask questions, see some basic photos of the facility, members will often post clothed pictures of themselves, but with our privacy policy you wont be able to see much of what happens at the club itself. Some clubs have social events that for new members on their first visit, have specific events that are free, to allow you to experience what it is like here.

What to expect at my first social event?

  • A friendly face at the check in desk to welcome you to the group: We do have a sign in process, please bring your valid ID, An ID check 21+, a waiver and hold harmless, and code of conduct to agree and sign upon entry to all our events, we will provide a Name Tag. Please check out these (waiver/hold harmless/code conduct) in advance on our website, so you don’t hold up the line at the event. If you have any questions about ID requirements, please contact [email protected] in advance of the event and speak with Cowboy Matt.

  • For social events with food and BYOB, members do volunteer to bring snacks and food to share, and its BYOB, we typically have about one hour time of relaxed conversation, to allow most of the members to arrive. About an hour into the event, the host of event will start the icebreaker portion, which is typically a game with teams. We often have team leaders picked out in advance as they have proved effective at facilitating the types of conversations and interactions were looking for in an icebreaker, like getting everyone involved, helping people get to know each others names, helping maintain balance of good conversation/ and helping quiet down fast when we need to transition and move on to the next task, and of course making the game fun!At the end of the icebreaker, we will socialize as a group for a short while longer before concluding that portion of event for the evening. BYOB Last call will be announced.

  • Stonewall residences is a vacation rental, so members attending the event will need to choose either to go home. Or if they want to stay as a guest and use the hot tub, and continue the fun, they will need to rent an overnight room or get an event pass which includes locker for set period of time. For descriptions of other events; join the club and follow our social media.

Are there costs involved?

  • Specific events will list the direct costs to members. For free BYOB social events with icebreakers, members are expected to help provide their own snacks, food, BYOB, volunteer/participate in helping the organization to be successful and grow. After last call on BYOB event.

  • Stonewall Residences resumes its vacation rental operations; All club members must decide to either to leave property or rent a overnight bedroom/ event locker (stay/play/pay). Most social clubs have a basic monthly or yearly membership fee to help the overhead cost of maintaining the facility/social media/staff/organizing the events themselves.
